Designing landing pages for Tripadvisor growth initiatives

Overview

To support a range of growth initiatives at Tripadvisor, I designed multiple landing pages tailored to distinct audiences, goals, and product concepts. These included an affiliate collaboration, a new travel guidance service, and early validation of a paid membership offering. Each lander was designed to clearly communicate value, reduce friction, and support experimentation.

My Role

I led end-to-end design for these landing pages, collaborating with a Content Writer on the TripText experience and partnering with stakeholders across Product and Growth.

Rakuten x Tripadvisor

Designed an affiliate landing page to help Rakuten users discover Tripadvisor products while clearly understanding usage terms. The page used a tabbed layout to encourage exploration across both Hotels and Things to Do, balancing discoverability with clarity.

TripText

Designed the landing page for TripText, a travel guidance service delivered via text messaging that connects travelers with industry professionals (“Trip Insiders”). The design focused on explaining a new interaction model, setting expectations, and building trust in a service-led experience.

Testing Tiers for a travel membership

Designed a landing page to test demand and price sensitivity for different tiers of a paid membership program (Tripadvisor Plus). The design supported rapid experimentation by clearly articulating tiered value propositions and enabling comparison without overwhelming users.
